I sincerely wish you all the best. Jesus is my Saviour, Lord and Master. He is also my best friend and I have received innumerable blessings from Him.
Get rid of the old way of life where you were bitter or angry or lustful or wanted revenge or craved for things that you did not have and may be full of misery or fear or in darkness, where you felt people riding over you or taking advantage of you and became bittter, angry etc., were a slave to your circumstances, sometimes unable to even sleep. Maybe a slave to bad habits which you are not able to put away.
Jesus has come to deliver us from everything that binds us and make us happy with a living connection with Him. He went about doing good and healing all those who were oppressed by the devil. So come to Him and tell Him that you want a change in your life, you want to put away all your sins. Ask Him to forgive you all the wrong things you have done and make you a new person.
Jesus has come to put a new you in those clothes who has a different attitude and is not dismayed or disturbed by things that happen to him and is content without a grouse a/g anyone. I am not saying that we do not act to protect ourselves and enjoy the fruit of our labour. But bitterness, grudges, sexual compromise, anger, disrespect to authority and such other negative attitudes/feelings need not control us. Jesus is willing to forgive all our sins and bad things we have done. He paid the penalty for all our sins when He died on the cross. Also, on the cross, He defeated the enemy (Satan and his hordes) and stripped them naked, this is true. On the 3rd day, He rose again, never to die and now is in Heaven, interceding for all His people.
Whoever receives Jesus becomes a child of God. Jesus wants to give us a new life in Him. So come to Him.
